Miami Marine Stadium: Bringing it Back to Life!

We love Miami! We love the people, the environment, the culture and the history. It is important for us to highlight things that we are passionate about and help bring awareness to the causes we support.

The Miami Marine Stadium is an iconic piece of Miami’s history. The stadium was built in 1963 by Cuban architect Hilario Candela with the purpose of watching powerboat racing. It is considered a modernist icon in the architecture world because of its unique cantilevered roof and its poured-in-place concrete construction. Needless to say, it is a piece of art.

The Stadium has become a very sentimental building to the residents of Miami and efforts for its restoration have been in the works for a while. The revival of the stadium has been supported by many, including celebrities like Gloria Estefan. We are very excited to report that restoration efforts are BACK! But we need your help! The National Trust for Historic Preservation is heading this movement and they are asking for our support. Please sign this petition and help bring the iconic stadium back to life!
