2015 – Year in Review

2015 was an amazing year for Aquassurance. From being stars on a Japanese TV commercial, to lifeguarding for the Marlins Stadium and events attended by David Beckham and Miss Universe, each step of our journey has been one to remember. Every single day has brought us closer to our goal: making Miami a safer place, one pool party at a time.

Although we are excited for what’s to come, we would like to look back and reflect on 2015 and the accomplishments that came with it.

THE STATS

Over the course year we supervised over 300 different pools, totaling close to 1500 hours of lifeguarding for kids parties, special events, summer camps, boat excursions, and even photo shoots. Our dedicated lifeguards prevented a countless number of injuries and several drownings. We expanded our swim lesson efforts, coaching a total of 90 private lessons. We even opened our second office in San Diego, California.

We’re proud to say that on our watch, there has not been a single injury.

THE RESOLUTIONS

We are grateful for what last year brought us, but we have a lot planned for 2016 to make it a bigger (and safer) year. An Aquassurance mobile application will be released in early 2016, giving anyone with a smartphone access to on-demand, easy, and care-free lifeguard services for any event. Our expansion efforts will also continue, bringing our lifeguards to more areas in Florida and California.

We know that our blog has not been the most consistent source of information, so this year we will be posting interesting and informative articles religiously. It is our hope to become a valuable asset to parents with young children and anyone else that shares our commitment to preventing drownings and other unthinkable injuries.

THE CONCLUSION

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way, especially our friends, family, clients, and lifeguards. We hope everyone has a great (and safe) 2016!
